Ed. Nalbandyan: “Armenia will continue its support for the peace, stability and security in Afghanistan”

On May 21 the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the International Support for Afghanistan Forces. Armenian delegation led by MFA Edward Nalbandyan also participated in the meeting. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.

Representatives of more that 50 states participated in the meeting, which was devoted to the situation in Afghanistan and the necessity to establish security in this state.

Armenian MFA delivered speech and reconfirmed Armenian readiness to continue assistance to establish peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Minister Nalbandyan especially said: “Positive progress in Afghanistan is obvious. But certainly more efforts are needed to have more results. Unfortunately we see every day that it is not an easy case to overcome the transition term. Destroying forces make obstacles for the peace, stability and security establishment.

International society must make efforts to prevent destroying actions in this state.”

Minister Nalbandyan also underlined that Armenia would continue its support for the peace, stability and security in Afghanistan both till 2014 and after it as well.
