Vladimir Hakobyan had an excellent victory at Albena Open

Armenian Olympic champion Vladimir Hakobyan took an excellent victory at the open inAlbena,Bulgaria. He scored 7 points out of 9 and won the first prize among 113 participants.

As Armchess.am informs now Hakobyan’s current rating became 2701,6.

Olympic champion Tigran L. Petrosian and International Master Karen Grigorian also showed wonderful results. They as well as GMs Ivan Cheparinov (Bulgaria) and Tamir Nabaty (Israel) also scored 7 points each but were behind Akopian by tie-break.Petrosian took the 3rd and Grigorian – 5th places.
