Two dead, one seriously injured in Aragatsavan

The Public Relations Department of the Armenian Police reports that Two individuals were killed and one was seriously injured in violent shoot-outs in the village Aragatsavan (Argatsotn region) on Thursday morning.

Police found out that several passenger vehicles (Ford Transit, Mercedes and Zhiguli) were totally damaged and burnt.

A Niva passenger car was found damaged and broken to pieces in the vicinities of the village’s bakery house.

All the involved in the incident have been identified.

The deceased have been identified as Artyom Khamoyan, 40, and Vardges Galstyan, 49; the injured, Arman Kh, (32) is said to be a relation of the former, according to Shamshyan.com.

Arman Kh had been taken under treatment with firearm injuries, while Khamoyan’s body had been moved in an ambulance as the hospital sources contacted the lcoal police at 11:45pm Yerevan time.

the gunshot was released from a FABRAM rifle owned by Sedrak Gh during a quarrel outside a residential block in the village’s Hoktemberyan highway.

Sedrak Gh was later taken to the police. The gun was confiscated.
