Turkey and IS holding secret talks- Lavrov

Turkey and the “Islamic State” terrorist group are holding secret talks, discussing the new options of smuggled supplies, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told “Moskovsky Komsomolets” newspaper, reports “Armenpress”.

“We are very concerned over reports that the Turks plan or even have already started to  salvage parts of Syrian territory, under the pretext of setting up tent villages there, so they accumulate Syrian refugees, not allowing them to cross the Turkish border, where, according to them, the camps are already overcrowded, “said the Russian minister.

“Turkey continues the rumors that a free IP-security zone should be created in Syria,”added Lavrov. – Everybody understands that it comes to the border area between the two Kurdish enclaves and the union of its forces is unacceptable for Turkey because it will block the supply to fighters in Syria and Turkey’s chances of getting them smuggled supplies. “

According to Russia “The Turks have already  discussed in NATO to establish free zones from IS in the Syrian territory”.

“It certainly would be a violation of all principles of international law, as well as significantly will raise the tension,” Lavrov said.

He believes that the US-led coalition will not allow Syria to carry out a large-scale invasion plans.
