Edward Nalbandian hosts Vice-President of European Commission

On Tuesday, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian hosted the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Ms. Federica Mogherini, reports the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Mr. Nalbandian welcomed Ms. Federica Mogherini on her first visit to Armenia.

The Minister believes that the official visit will certainly promote the development of Armenia-EU relations.

According to Ms. Federica Mogherini, the closer cooperation would be of great importance not only for Armenia but also the entire region.

A number of issues applying to the development of Armenia-EU relations, negotiation process and formation of a new legal framework of the relations was under consideration by the sides.
