President visits Yerevan’s metro afterwards attending opening ceremony of ‘Russia Mall’

Mayor Taron Margaryan and “Yerevan Metro after Karen Demirchyan” CJSC officials presented the conducted work for the modernization of underground infrastructure as well as the existing issues.

The president gave instructions on the modernization, safe operation, as well as on the completion of the restructuring plan.

Serzh Sargsyan called for giving instructions to continue negotiations with relevant partner organizations.

Mr Sargsyan, accompanied by the leadership of the Mayor and the head of Yerevan metro, from station ‘Marshal Baghramyan’ got to ‘Andranik Zoravar’ station, which has a direct access to the “Russia Mall” shopping center. The President attended the opening ceremony of the shopping center.

Armenia’s president toured around the shopping center, as the representatives of Yerevan’s Municipality presented the urban development programme of ‘Sil’ concern, having the newly opened shopping center as part of the programme.
