Serzh Sargsyan presented the newly-appointed Prime Minister to the Government

Today, on April 14, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan presented the newly-appointed Prime Minister to the members of Armenian Government and to the officials who are invited to the Government session. Press service of Armenian President informs about this. 

“As you know, yesterday I nominated Hovik Abrahamyan as Armenian Prime Minister. He is a person who is trusted by the most of the deputy in Armenian Parliament, he was the speaker of Armenian Parliament and also the vice-chairman of the Armenian Republican Party.

Yesterday the media presented to our society all the processes and also those issues which the new Government and Prime Minister must solve. After the Prime Minister’s nomination the Government continues its work and I ask all Government members to carry their responsibilities properly. In frame of 20 days we will formulate new Government. And then we will speak about the Government’s problems in details. I congratulate Hovik Abrahamyan once more and wish him success. Congratulations”, said Serzh Sargsyan while presenting the Prime Minister. 

 PM Hovik Abrahamyan thanked President for trust and asked the current Government’s members to continue their work. “Mr. President, I would like to tell my counterparts that we do not have any predictions for any candidate and I ask all of you to work hard. We will present the new staff of the Government in frame of the Constitutional terms.

Thank you”, said the new Prime Minister.
