Armenian newspapers today: few days before the elections

“Haykakan zhamanak” writes that the application by deputy candidate at 7th electoral territory Nicol Pashinyan against the deputy candidate of the same electoral territory Samvel Alexanyan will be discussed today again. Remind that N. Pashinyan presented an application against S. Alexanyan with accusation that the latter gave electoral bribe to the voters and promised them to organize the graduate evenings for the schoolchildren at his restaurant.

“Aravot” newspaper writes: “Deputy Head of the Armenian Police Hunan Pogosyan said yesterday that a criminal case is launched based on the announcement by the ANC candidate Gayane Arustamyan.”

As “Hraparak” writes the whole work of the state departments in Armenia will be paralyzed on May 4. RPA and “Prosperous Armenia” parties will hold pre-electoral elections at the same time near Matenadaran and Opera building.

“168 hours” asked the chairman of Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan to tell about the changes which we had compared with the previous elections. “We had more complicated problems with the broadcasting and e-media on 2007. Then the media did not have an order to present the electoral processes appropriate to the international standards. And the alternative media can not be compared on 2007 and on 2012. The alternative media creates good atmosphere especially for the elections”.
