Armenian chess-players at various international championships

Armenian GM Hrant Melkumyan took a victory in the first round of the open that is being held parallel to London Chess Classic.

As Armchess.am informs 232 chess players are taking part in the tournament.

According to the same source GMs Zaven Andriasian, Avetik Grigoryan and Hrair Simonian have scored 2 points each at the open that is being held in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. GM Hovhannes Gabuzyan has 1,5 points.
