International Crisis Group does not say anything new about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, just well-known facts

International Crisis Group released ist next report about the conflicts in the whole world. Referring to Caucasus countries’ issues, the report says: “PM Sargsyan met with Russian PM Medvedev in Sochi
24 Feb to discuss bilateral relations, including Russian-led Customs Union that Armenia plans to join. Authorities late Jan arrested former police officer for allegedly spying for Azerbaijan. Govt critics expressed dismay over more restrictive rules introduced for Armenian migrant workers in Russia.”

Referring to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Crisis Group presents facts which are obvious and there is nothing new.

“U.S. co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group mediating between Azerbaijan and Armenia in media interview early Feb cited progress in negotiations. Sporadic armed clashes across front line which began mid-Jan continued, albeit less intense, with several reports of troop deaths from both Yerevan and Baku”, the report especially says and as usual does not present the real guilty side of the strained situation on the border.

As it is known, Azerbaijanis intensively fired to Armenian directions during January, 2014 and casued death of Armenian servicemen. They also continued firing on February. In Tavush region, Republic of Armenia, an Armenian girl was wounded as a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani side.
