S. Sargsyan and PACE delegation discussed elections in Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan hosted on April 12 PACE observing delegation led by Baroness Emma Nicholson. Press service of Armenian President informs about this.

Both sides rated highly cooperation between European Council and Republic of Armenia and Armenian participation in various programs in frame of the EC.

Armenian President S. Sargsyan rated EC role in some important issues such as human rights protection development and noted that Armenian participation in EC has a great meaning for reforms held in Armenia. S. Sargsyan also noted that significant work is done which will give opportunity also in future to hold appropriate elections. And it will be good for the country to become more democratic in future.

During the meeting the sides discussed the elections in Armenia.
