Youth4Media seminars in Yerevan are over: the results of the work are presented

As Times.am has already informed Youth4Media European Network Association organized workshops in Armenia, Yerevan, on May 6-15. Young people from Armenia, Germany, Spain and Georgia participated in the workshops which were about video journalism and cross media journalism. The trainers were from Poland.

During the seminar the whole group was divided into two big groups: video journalism group and cross media journalism group. The last group was also divided in smaller ones. And each group had its big task to do. Video journalism group made a video material about Yerevan as World Book Capital 2012. They have done many interviews, met various people and presented various ways of book usage.

Cross media group students had three tasks. First small group called “Matrioshka” should present Armenia by the point of view of foreigners. This group had interviews with tourists who are in Armenia and they also did research on the topic.

The second group called “Armenian-Georgian Broadcasting Corporation” chose the topic “Young people’s problems in various European countries”. They chose just one problem to work on: young people spend too much time in front of the computer. They asked opinions of representatives of various nations, spoke with expert and also created a photo gallery on the topic.

The third group named “Nations in action” prepared article on the Yoth4Media seminars in Yerevan. They followed the whole course, took photos, shot a video and on the last day presented the whole work which was done by the participants during these ten days. Presentation of the whole work took place yesterday, on May 15. All described materials, photos and videos can be found on the official web-site of Youth4Media European Network Association.
