A small episode of Armenian soldier’s daily heroic actions

Armenian history has rich episodes of the soldier’s heroism, personal valor, dedication and selfless actions. On March 19, Armenians resisted the attack of the enemy’s reinforced detachment of special purpose which was another manifestation of heroism inherited from our ancestors. This time, too, Armenian military did not panic, immediately organized defense and the enemy was forced to retreat. In these battles it is worthy a special mention the actions of wounded commander and his platoon, when our soldiers, unlike the Azeris, who are raising arms on the their commanders, helped their commander, who lost hand after the grenade explosion, recharge his weapon and fought to the victorious end. And commander not only continued to lead his platoon’s actions but also personally participated in the battle. In this small war, which is the another proof of Armenian soldier’s combat readiness and high spirit all the soldiers of the platoon were stood out. Machine-gunner Zhora Grigoryan, deputy commander of the platoon Rafael Nazaryan and detachment commander Onik Miqayelyan, who were directly next to the commander, fought heroically and supported the commander especially after his injury.

This is a small episode of Armenian soldier’s daily heroic actions. But the most precious here is that our soldiers facing Azerbaijani 062 unit, which is trained in Turkey and has a reputation of the strongest and elite group, has once again proved their superiority over the enemy in combat and moral.

One can be sure that enemy’s any adventure is henceforth doomed to failure because there are numerous Oniks, Zhoras and Rafayels in our ranks….
