Armenian soldier killed on border

On the night of February  5, in the front line of the Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces a noticeable increase in tension was recorded.

Azerbaijani side fired more than 1500 times from arms of different calibers, the NKR Defense Ministry service reported.

On the night of February 5, at 03.55, in one of the military units located in the southern direction, a serviceman Simon Chavrshyan, born in 1996, was mortally wounded.

An investigation was launched to dig out the details of the incident.

NKR Defense Ministry shares the grief of the loss of the family and extends  its condolences to the relatives and colleagues of the serviceman.
