Belarus to host CIS countries to combat cyber terrorism

On the months of May-June 2016 Belarus will hold “Cyber-Antiterror -2016” joint military exercises with the CIS countries to fight against cyber-terrorism.

As reports “Armenpress”, it was announced by the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center (ATC) Police Chief Colonel General Andrei Novikov on February 10.

The special services of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia are to take part in the courses.

“ Joint “Cyber-Antiterror -2016” exercises will be hold in accordance with the cooperation program of the CIS member states to fight against terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism, which final round will take place in Belarus,” said Andrey Novikov.

Novikov specified that according to the training plan, the experts of the CIS countries will prevent acts of terrorism, which is provided through the application of advanced technologies, RIA Novosti reported.
