Armenian Genocide Museum will be built in Uruguay

A decision has been made to build an Armenian Genocide museum in Uruguay. Head of the Hay Dat office of the Southern America Hakob Tabakyan informed about this Armenpress.am.
“Uruguayan Government agrees with the idea. We hope to manage to build the museum before the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide”, he said. According to Tabakyan, now the plan is worked out to manage the work. Especially the place of museum is under discussion.
“We are discussing where and how to build the museum. The most important thing now is to fulfill the plan”, said Mr. Tabakyan.
Referring to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide he underlined that there are various plans which must be fulfilled in North America’s countries.
Mr. Tabakyan also hopes that the Republic of Armenia will expand its cooperation with the North American countries and will consider them to be its counterparts.
