I don’t think art can change anything- Krzysztof Penderecki
Krzysztof Penderecki, a prominent Polish composer and musician is in Yeravan.
At news conference he was asked to comment on the power of art.
According to him art is not powerful tool to save the planet and fight against terrorism threats.
He also commented on his attempts edicated to the Armenian Genocide centennial:
“I did all my best; I composed a peace referring to the Armenian Genocide. But I live in another part of the globe, so that’s a history for us. I don’t think art can change anything. ”
His work dedicated to the Genocide centenary was first played in the New York Carnegie Hall in May 2015.
