Clashes between Turks and Kurds are going on

Turkish military unit at the Hata region, near Amanos Mountains was attacked. Members of the Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) opened fire on Turks and two of them were wounded.

Turk soldiers answered to the attack and after it the Kurds withdrew. But before leaving they mined the road. Other military units came to assist the Turkish soldiers but the mine blasted on their way. As “Anadolu” news agency informs the mine blast did not damage anyone and there is no victim. Only the cars transferring the soldiers were damaged.

The terrorists are still sought.
