Iranian source: clashes in Aleppo are going on

Damascus says the army has managed to clear Aleppo’s strategic district of al-Midan of armed groups fighting against the government. Iranian Press TV informs about this. 

There are reports of clashes between government troops and insurgents in several other Aleppo districts. There is a big Armenian Community in Aleppo and tens of Armenians have already been killed here as a result of clashes. 

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. The rebels claim President Bashar al-Assad must resign, but the latter refuses to do it. The Presdinet is sure the rebels are directed by the Western forces.
