Russian troops are no threat to Turkey
Togrul Turkesh, a deputy Turkish prime minister said the Russian troops pose no threat to Turkey, Trend.az reports.
“Turkey is a NATO member. It means that the Turkish borders are also NATO borders,” Togrul Turkesh announced.
Earlier it was reported that Russia sent 100 servicemen to the Syrian settlement of Qamishli on the border with Turkey.
Qamishli settlement is being controlled by Syria’s Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD), report continues.
Ahmet Davutoglu, the Turkish Prime Minister has repeated that for Turkey there is no difference between PYD and the militants of the IS terrorist organization (ISIL or ISIS).
