Turkey to support Saudi Arabia’s military operation in Syria- Cavusoglu
Turkey does not rule out the possibility of its participation in military operations in Syria, if the operation is to start Saudi Arabia, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, reports “Armenpress” citing the Turkish "Yeni Safak" newspaper.
A few days ago Saudi Arabia made an announcement about its readiness to send ground troops to Syria to fight against Bashar Assad’s regime.
Cavusoglu said that Saudi Arabia is already sending its planes to the Turkish "Incirlik” Air base.
In addition, it is expected Riyade to send its servicemen to Turkey.
Earlier, the Turkish "Sabah" newspaper citing military sources, reported that the rumors about Turkey’s plans to hold military campaign in Syria, are not true.
Russian media recently reported that Turkey prepares military operations in Syria and concentrates military equipment on the border with that country.
According to the Turkish media, at an International Security Conference in Munich, the Turkish Foreign Minister announced that his country is to continue the open door policy concerning refugees.
